Feeling supported at Christmas
We're well into the lead up to Christmas now..
Images of happy, smiling faces will be popping up on our screens, with a picture of Christmas. We'll see happy families surrounded by mountains of gifts on TV adverts and shop displays, encouraging us to eat, drink and be merry. Its hard not to believe that everyone should be feeling merry and bright throughout December and into January and the New Year. And why not, we could all do with some festive cheer.
But what if this is not your experience of Christmas? What if you are feeling under the weather since the clocks turned back and the amount of day light reduces towards the longest night of the year? What if you’re worried about money and are finding it difficult to finance gifts, parties and food for the season? Or missing loved ones? What if you are struggling to cope with Christmas?
